February 16, 2010Today I received a message from BSNL about new 3G services
BSNL Launching 3G !!! Video Call, Mobile TV, Speed Upto 7.2 Mbps @ Re 1 PM, For Details Call 9400024365, Available at Ur Nearest Retailer / CSC after 20th Feb
So finally BSNL is launching the mostly awaited (atleast by me with N95) 3G Service on 20th Feb, 2010 at Bangalore. And I was excited to look at the most important part here – Re 1 PM. Though do not know details about it yet. It might be launching offer for existing customers.
Just talked with CC today & to activate 3G on your number you just need to sms “M3G” to 53733 after BSNL launches the service. (which is 20 Feb. as per the sms). Hopefully in some time I will be posting updates to my blog from my 3G connection.

New in GMail Labs – Tasks
December 11, 2008Today I saw a new feature alert in GMail page.
Tasks.
I enabled it by going to GMail -> Settings -> Labs & selecting Enable.
After enabling Tasks you will see a link below Contacts link as Tasks link. On clicking, it opens a window similar to chat windows with features of a Task List.

Some of the features are :
1. To add a new Task just click on the Tasks pane or click on the + sign visible on Tasks pane or if you want to convert you mail into Tasks & track it, just open that mail & from More Actions…… select Add to Tasks.
2. Next to the Task name you will see a small checkbox which can be used to mark the tasks as completed.
3. Selecting a Task & pressing Shift+Enter allows you to add Due Date & you can attach Notes to the selected Task.
4. You can create different Tasks lists for different purposes like personal tasks list.
5. Other options include listing only completed tasks, deleting tasks…..
